Lief is very downtrodden. She's depressed, exhausted with life. She's temperamental, easily saddened or angered. If someone has done something that was done intentionally to hurt her, she is suspicious of that action from anyone, regardless of the intention.

She's OCD in some ways. She has to have things a certain way or done in a specific order. She's a pessimist, she can't see the light at the end of the tunnel--it's all darkness.

Her biological mother and father divorced when she was just a baby. Her father took her and married her step-mother. Together they had two boys.

​

The whole family was awful to her, so she took solace in her grandparents who actually loved her. They would teach her things and comfort her when she needed it.

She turned 18, graduated high school, and immediately joined the air force to be a nurse. She couldn't handle it anymore and after she was discharged she worked odd jobs. Ended up marrying her air force boyfriend. He was verbally and physically abusive towards her.

​

She had two kids, one of which was Duke. Duke is her second child, the oldest being Kyou.  She divorced her husband and moved to another state, only to be kicked out of her home and forced to return to her abusive ex. They are still exes, but she is still stuck with him.
